Private Lessons
I currently teach private sewing lessons for adults and students ages 12 and up at Seams Sewing and Mercantile in Lansing, Michigan. I primarily work with intermediate to advanced students who want to strengthen and refine their garment-making skills. My lessons focus on draping, pattern drafting, pattern block manipulation, and the fundamentals of tailoring, with an emphasis on building confidence and deepening their understanding of garment construction.
My current rate is $45 per hour.
During the summer, I also teach a fashion program for teens ages 12–19 at Interlochen Arts Camp, where I introduce students to a range of fashion design and garment construction techniques.
