Macho Man is an ode to WWF wrestler Macho Man Randy Savage, who was known for his outrageous and theatrical costumes. Randy Savage, although he was an extremely muscular man, was outspoken about his distaste for toxic masculinity. To create this piece I drafted the jacket from an existing jacket. I then altered that pattern to create a color-blocked jacket that had a star that radiated outward. Lastly, I combined Rit dye with acetone to stain the white pleather pattern pieces teal and lime green.
